]]>Layering numerous coats of glitter nail polish until you’ve filled all the gaps is probably what you’ve been doing so far. Forget about it, and prepare yourself to be amazed. Using this technique is great with all other polishes, but can end up being a disaster with glitter.
Start off by removing everything you have on the nails and protect the skin with liquid latex. Apply the base coat just like you would usually do. The next step is the life-changing thing about this nail polish. Instead of painting a coat with the polish brush, grab a makeup sponge. ]]>You will need the following ingredients:
1/2 cup citric acid
1 tablespoon water
1 cup baking soda
glitter
1/2 cup Epsom salt
1 teaspoon beetroot powder
2 tablespoons coconut oil
30-40 drops essential oil
For the oil, you can almost go with any type that you like. The best options are orange and lavender.
For the DIY glitter bath bomb, you first need to get a bowl. Mix the citric acid, baking soda, beet powder, and Epsom salt together in the bowl. Include the essential oil and coconut oil as well. Start mixing until you’ve combined everything.
Start pouring the water slowly and mix again. You should get a mixture that has the consistency that sticks together under pressure. If you feel like it needs more water, feel free to add a few extra drops.
Grab the molds for the DIY glitter bomb and cover them with glitter. Add the mixture in and press it. Let the mold dry for at least one day. You can also leave it in the freezer.
