]]> France pretty much reaches capacity during the summer months when tourists from all over the world come to enjoy the cobblestone streets and croissants. But TikTok has let us in on a whole other reason to head to the European country.

Dozens of TikTok users have revealed just how many great skincare products can be found in French pharmacies.

Some of the top brands in the world come from France, including Caudalie, Biafine, and La Roche Posay. But, sadly, not all items in their range are available in the US, so it makes sense that beauty influencers would stock up when in Le République.

“I’m back in Paris, you guys know the drill. The first stop was the pharmacy,” declares @glowwithava before showing us all the goodies she picked up.

“[This is] every make-up artist’s favorite moisturizer before make-up,” she says about the Lait-Crème Concentré by Embroylisse.

Ava, who has 1.7 million followers on the social media platform, also made sure to get sunscreens from Caudalie and La Roche Posay which cannot be found in the United States, plus some items from Eucerin’s hyaluronic filler range.

Other TikTokers have also revealed that some products are $20-30 cheaper than they cost in the States.

Seems to us like a good reason to go on vacation!

Darren Star, the creator of Sex and the City created this instant hit. Emily In Paris stars actress Lily Collins in the main role of Emily, a young social media manager who’s sent to Paris for work. She needs to provide an American perspective for a French marketing agency called Savoir. First, Emily finds herself having trouble fitting in at her new office. Then, she has to deal with her French personal life. This leads to quite a few ‘lost in translation’ moments.

The show offers sweeping views of some of Paris’ most famous sites. You get to see the Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and the Seine. Emily even spends a weekend in the Champagne wine region. You will feel like you’ve stepped out of your apartment and into the vineyards, while you watch.

Café au Lait

Strong brewed coffee with milk is usually served for breakfast in France, along with a delicious croissant or bread-butter-jam. In case you didn’t know, this type of coffee is called Café au Lait.

Une Noisette

After a nice meal, the French like to enjoy a nice cup of espresso with a dab of milk. In Italy, this coffee is called a macchiato, Spanish people call it a cortado, but in France it’s called Une Noisette.

Café Express

If you order an “espresso” in France everyone would understand, but you should know the French name for this delicious cup of coffee – Café Express.

Café Allongé

Café Allongé is the closest thing to American black coffee – it’s an espresso diluted with hot water. For those of you who like drip-style coffee, Café Allongé is a perfect choice.

Café Crème

Unlike Café au Lait, which is made with brewed filtered coffee, Café Crème is an espresso served with steamed milk. It’s a typical drink in French cafes and in case you want a double, you should order a Grand Crème.

Since it’s located on the ocean, there is some truly fabulous seafood available all year round, including mussels, scallops, and oysters. The only thing is with the oysters, you can only eat them if there is an ‘r’ in the month. It may sound strange, but all the locals will tell you that if you’re there during a month without an ‘r’ in it, stay away from the oysters.
