]]> We all dream of having long, luscious lashes to frame our eyes. Yet, not all of us were genetically blessed in that department. Thankfully, false lashes do exist! Here’s how to get the most out of your falsies. 

But First, Mascara

Falsies are going to give you striking lashes, but there is still a place for mascara. Curl your lashes and apply mascara before attaching the lashes so that the falsies have something firm to sit on. 

Pencil Power

It isn’t always easy to apply false lashes perfectly. The good news is, you can hide a multitude of sins with eyeliner. If you have any gaps between your fake lashes and your real ones, fill them in with eyeliner and watch how it all blends seamlessly.

We Have Lift Off

Falsies sometimes come out as sisters instead of twins. If one side is droopier than the other and you want to give it a lift, apply a tiny bit of glue to the out edge (while the false lashes are on your eye) and gently push the lashes up. 

Less is More

If you’re struggling to put on your falsies, don’t fret. There is a trick to make it simpler. Snip off a third of the strip and apply glue to the inner part of the lashes. Add your glue, look down into the mirror, and apply the strip to the outer part of your eye. Voila!

]]> There are a number of ways you can actually clean fake eyelashes, but this is one of the safest. It doesn’t matter how expensive the lashes were, every lady wants to wear them several times. If you already own an oil-free eye makeup remover, you can try this simple trick right now. It won’t damage the fake lashes and they will look as good as new.

You Will Need:

If you are planning on cleaning your fake eyelashes with eye makeup remover this is what you will need.

  • large bowl
  • cotton swabs
  • tweezers
  • paper towel
  • oil-free eye makeup remover

How to Do it:

  1. Get the bowl, and add a little eye makeup remover in it.
  2. During the following step, you will need to put the falsies inside the solution and leave them there for 3 minutes.
  3. When the time is up, get the false lashes and put them on the paper towel.
  4. You should get the cotton swabs next and remove all the excess mascara and glue from the falsies.
  5. When all that is done, get the tweezers for a more precise removal of the glue. You will notice that everything comes off very easily and you’ll be done in minutes.
