]]>Although balance is desirable, sometimes a little imbalance for the sake of love is part of leading a balanced life. Liz spent her time in India learning to focus on her meditation and sense of self but ultimately, she learned that giving over to love enabled her feel most whole.
If a relationship isn’t working, it’s ok to walk away. Communication is important and we should try out best but we should never settle for misery out of fear of being alone.
In Rome, Liz regained her appetite and learned to take joy in the little things. She equally remembered not to sweat the small stuff and embrace life as it is – muffin tops and all.
Although Liz took her journey alone, it was the people around her that made the experience special. From her family in Rome to the people that shared her spiritual journey in India, it is the people she cared about that brought her back to life.
Above all, follow your gut. If your instinct is telling you to take a journey – take it. Do not fear what other people think of you and do not worry about what is expected of you. You know yourself better than anyone else and if you feel you need to take a leap of faith – you are probably right.
