Just mix one tablespoon of liquid dish soap with nine-and-a-half ounces of water into a spray bottle. As soon as a spill happens, immediately use this cleaning solution and then wash your clothes like you normally do in the laundry machine. If your item isn’t machine washable you should still use the spray and then take your stained item to the dry cleaner ASAP.

Here are some common stains and how to quickly remove them.

Red Wine

Use the cleaning solution on the stain and blot it with a white cotton cloth and then use hot water. After your finished, use white vinegar. Next, put a bowl under your fabric and secure it with a rubber band. Use salt to coat the spot and pour boiling water over the fabric.

Turmeric is an awesome spice to use in your cooking. There are so many health benefits to using turmeric, such as anti-inflammatory effects, as well as aiding to circulation and more. It also dyes any food you are cooking a beautiful yellow, which is a great way to add more color to your dishes. However, if you get it on your clothes, it will also turn them yellow. If you are a turmeric lover but also are a clumsy person, here are some natural ways to get turmeric out of your clothes.

Lemon Juice

As soon as you see the stain, immediately put some fresh lemon juice on it. Because it is so acidic, it has a bleaching quality that will get out the stain. Either squeeze the lemon right onto the stain or put the whole item in a bowl with lemon juice. Dry it in the sun and wash as regular.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is also a great way to get stains out of clothes, especially turmeric. Start off by rinsing the stain in regular water, followed by a sprinkle of baking soda on the stain. Take a toothbrush and scrub the stain out, and wash as normal.
