]]>We all know that we should clean our makeup brushes, but most of us are guilty of going long periods without giving them a thorough clean. If your makeup brushes and sponges are caked in makeup, this could be why your skin still has the odd zit or blemish when you are doing everything else right.
To clean your brushes, run them under lukewarm water with an anti-bacterial soap. Handwash your brushes and then run water over them until the water runs clear. If there is still residue on the brush, repeat this step.
After all the brushes have been rinsed, lay them out on your window sill. Be patient and wait for them to fully dry. When they have dried, you are good to go and apply makeup with your freshly-cleaned brush.
