Nothing can refresh you as quickly as a bottle of cold and bubbly sparkling water. Sparkling water is a great way to get some of that awesome refreshment without the added calories. It’s a common drink of choice in the fitness world but you don’t have to be a fanatic to enjoy it.


Being calorie- and sugar-free, sparkling water is pretty much a perfect alternative to soda and similar drinks, even alcoholic ones. Even diet soda, which technically doesn’t have calories, contains some ingredients that can have negative health implications.

You can even get flavored sparkling water if you get bored with the plain one. In fact, you can add flavor yourself! Squeeze in some lemon or orange and enjoy a tall glass of water instead of an evening glass of wine. Choosing a pretty glass can really help you see it as a special treat instead of something common.


Your choice of brand doesn’t matter too much. There are plenty of different sparkling waters on the market so just try some and see which one you like the most. Whenever you drink it, remember that you’re doing something good for yourself and that you’re taking a step towards a healthier future.
