When it comes to makeup remover, look for one that’s gentle and effective, so your lashes don’t come off with your makeup. If you have sensitive skin, get a makeup remover specifically for your skin type as normal ones can irritate your skin.

The best way to remove waterproof mascara is with a makeup remover-soaked cotton pad. Gently press it on the area while your eyes are closed and let it sit there for a few seconds, to allow the remover to break down the product. Then wipe away the mascara in a downward motion. Keep doing this until all of the mascara is gone.

No matter what, don’t rub it off. This will make the makeup smudge all over your face and it will stain the delicate eye area.
