There is nothing worse than accidentally putting down a hot cup of tea on your favorite antique wooden furniture. Although you might be in a panic, relax! There are plenty of ways to get your wood back to its glory days with these simple hacks.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is the number 1 item you need to always have in your cleaning arsenal . Simply make a paste of 1 tablespoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of water and rub it on the water stain. Continue until the stain disappears, and it’ll be like it never happened!

Petroleum Jelly

This product is perfect for chapped lips and dry skin, but it can also help you with your water stains. Simply rub it onto the stain and leave it over night. Wipe it up well with a paper towel because it might be a little slimy, but in no time at all you will see that the stain disappears.

Salt

Salt is a great solution for water stains if you don’t have any other materials around, since every household has salt. All you have to do is mix 1 teaspoon of salt with just a few drops of water to form a paste. Rub the paste onto the stain with a cloth or sponge until the stain is no longer there.
