]]>According to Gap’s head of marketing Kristine Pizzelanti, this has been something they’ve been planning for years. The Covid-19 pandemic accelerated their decision to start their own home line and give people who are working from home a chance to give their space a signature Gap touch.
“Those iconic Gap colors and materials—shades of blue, white, khaki, as well as fun pop colors, denim, and chambray—give it the classic Gap look, but we were also inspired by our summer 2021 collection. Pops of tie-dye and ombre add a dimension of fun,” said Pizzelanti in a statement.
Gap Home collection launched at Walmart on June 23, and shoppers haven’t stopped raving about it ever since. The entire line features a total of over 400 items that mix timeless American style with modern pieces, ranging from bedding and curtains to dinnerware and decorations.
