]]> After a long day of sightseeing, watching the sunset can be the perfect way to end a travel day. In Lisbon, a hilly city overlooking the Tagus River and Atlantic Ocean, this is a not-to-be-missed activity. Here are three of the best spots to catch the sunset. 

Senhora do Monte 

This viewpoint is located next to the highest hill in the city. From here you’ll have a beautiful panoramic view of all of Lisbon. Locals and tourists alike come here with a picnic or bottle of wine. So don’t hesitate to pack some snacks or drinks with you when you head out to this stunning location.

Topo Martim Moniz 

One of the coolest rooftop bars in the city, Topo has delicious cocktails along with one of the best views over the Castle. If you want to spend a fun evening in a nice atmosphere while enjoying the sunset, this is the perfect place. 

From the Water

Another unforgettable experience is seeing the sunset from the water. There are many boat tours that will take you up and down the Tagus River, past the most beautiful monuments. Seeing the sunset reflected in the water is a beautiful experience.
