]]>Breaking world records with upwards of 5 million attendees every year, the Sao Paulo Pride Parade is the world’s biggest yearly local parade. It was also voted best pride parade by users of the dating app Grindr.
The Madrid Pride Parade is the biggest LGBTQ event in Europe as of 2019. It brings in hundreds of thousands of tourists every year in addition to over a million local attendees, and rakes in tons of cash to help support the Spanish economy as well.
Taiwan Pride is the biggest Pride parade in East Asia. Taiwan was one of the only countries which handled the events of 2020 well enough that they were actually able to hold a parade last year!
Tel Aviv Pride is the biggest Pride event in the Middle East, and in 2019 was the largest in Asia. Like Sao Paulo and Madrid, it is a popular event for tourists looking to celebrate Pride internationally.

]]>At least in the Northern hemisphere, June is a pretty hot month, and it’s much hotter if you’re out in the sun all afternoon. Take care of yourself by drinking plenty of water and—especially if you’re planning to have lots of skin exposed—wear sunscreen.
Pride is known for being incredibly crowded, making it easy to lose your friends, especially if you’re all drinking and running around. So make sure that wherever you go, you bring a buddy along with you so that you don’t find yourself alone and lost.
It’s a good thing fanny packs are so stylish this year because they’re also a great way to keep your belongings safe in a huge crowd by keeping them close to your body. You never know who will be in a big group like a pride parade, so keep an eye out.
And, no less importantly, make sure to respect the belongings and personal space of everybody else around you.
