Architect Giuseppe Valadier designed the hotel in the 19th century and hoped that Italy’s elite would stay there. Now, guests can stay at this opulent hotel, and tour the Italian gardens for around $500 a night.
If any hotel was designed with romance in mind, it is this one. The architects, Salvador Reyes Rios and Josefina Larrain ensured that pink could be found from the guest rooms to the bar. To make it even more secluded, they added high walls for each private terrace and ensured that every room is soundproof. Rooms here start at $320.
The island nation of Barbados is known for its colorful buildings, and this hot pink boutique hotel is no different. As soon as guests check-in they can head out to the veranda for sundowners, and a magnificent ocean view. A suite is about $400 a night depending on the season.
