Sena Runa is a Turkish artist and paper enthusiast who is creating amazing colorful sculptures using only paper and the technique called quilling.

Quilling or paper filigree is one of the art forms that involves using colorful strips of paper for creating different objects. Runa became an expert in quilling and she’s twisting and folding paper strips to create different shapes such as violins, pianos, hearts, hot air balloons, and many other objects.

Quilling can be a great hobby and the best thing is that basically anyone can learn it with a little patience. Runa started doing this out of fun while she worked as an HR Specialist, but now she’s a full-time artist.

“While I was searching the internet for inspiration to find the right hobby for me, I found a colorful picture that was made from paper using the quilling technique, but I had no idea what it was called”, the told *My Modern Met*. “I tried to make it (I had colored papers from my earlier hobby: origami), but it turned out awful! After exploring many quilled creations online, I soon found my own style.”
