]]>Try not to nap too late in the day because it can cause you to have difficulty falling asleep at night. Naturally, you’ll start to get tired around seven hours after you wake up, so if you woke up at 6 a.m., you’ll want to nap around 1 p.m.
Napping in your bed is much more fulfilling than falling asleep on a chair. But, if you don’t have access to your bed, at least keep a pillow and blanket in your car or at work.
When you sleep at night you turn off the light and turn of any distractions, so why wouldn’t you do the same when you’re napping? Invest in a pair of earplugs and an eye mask.
If you nap too long, you’ll wake up feeling exhausted. The best amount of time to nap is either 20 minutes or 90 minutes. At 20 minutes you’ll enter a deep, slow-wave sleep, which will help you feel rejuvenated when you wake up and in a 90-minute nap, you’ll have time to complete a full sleep cycle, which will make you feel refreshed. But, when your alarm goes off, get up right away and don’t hit snooze!

]]>The answer is that sometimes naps can be healthy, but you can easily make them unhealthy for your body, so if you do love to nap, follow these tips!
There are a lot of reasons to nap. If you have to work for a long time and need a boost, or if you know you won’t be sleeping a lot at night because of an early wake-up call, napping is a great choice to make.
The amount of time you should actually be napping for is a lot shorter than most people expect. A nap should actually only occur for 10-20 minutes, and it should happen before 3:00 pm or you could disrupt your sleep cycle. The reason why you want to keep it short is that it can make you feel groggy if you do sleep for too long, so make sure to set an alarm!
Wherever you nap, you want to try to make it as dark and quiet as possible. You don’t want to be distracted from your nap or it will take you longer to fall asleep, and you won’t feel as well-rested after.

]]>Lavender scents are the most relaxing ones. This herb has the ability to lower your blood pressure and relax your nerve endings. Just the thing you need for a good nights sleep.
This will not only completely relax your body, but it will also help you fall asleep faster. All you have to do is take a hot shower, one hour before going to sleep. When you go into a slightly cooler room, your metabolism becomes slower and you are ready to call it off for the night.

If you want to fall asleep faster, try exercising during the day. Regular workouts increase the production of the hormone serotonin, which will help you get quality sleep at night.
Taking a nap can really throw you off your regular schedule. In other words, you might find it difficult to go to sleep at night. This is an already proven fact, so next time you need to sleep during the day, just take a short walk.
