]]>For the delicious margarita, you should get:
1 oz Cointreau
2 cups fresh cantaloupe
3/4 oz lime juice
2 oz silver tequila
lime wedge
salt
Make sure to use quality tequila for the best experience.
To make the cantaloupe margarita you will need a food processor or a blender. Put the fresh cantaloupe in the processor and start blending to get a puree. Remove the large chunks and with a mesh sieve. You will only need to use the juice.
Add ice in a cocktail shaker. Mix the 2 2/15 oz of cantaloupe juice, 1 oz Cointreau, 2 oz tequila, 3/4 oz fresh lime juice. Mix the shaker to combine the ingredients.
Prepare a glass for the margarita. Use a lime wedge to go over the rim of the glass, and pour the salt on a small plate. Put the glass on the salt, to cover the rim. Fill it with ice and pour the cocktail in. Decorate it with the lime wedge that’s left.
