]]>Set an alarm that won’t let you nap for more than 15-30 minutes. If you sleep longer than that, you’ll probably feel groggy after waking up. Shorter naps are great for recharging and will leave you ready for the rest of your day.
It’s important to turn off the lights and sounds that disrupt sleep. Take only 15 or 20 minutes for your nap, but do it right. If there’s noise or light that you can’t turn off, consider using an eye mask and earplugs to do the job.
If you nap before 3 p.m., it’s unlikely that your nap will affect the quality of your sleep during the night. If this is impossible for you, adjust the time of the nap to your own schedule but try to do it as early as you can.
