During these times, more people are turning to home workouts as many gyms and studios have been closed due to the coronavirus. If you’re used to going to gyms, making the transition to home workouts is overwhelming, but with these five tips you can make the most out of your at-home workouts and pick up lifestyle habits you’ll use in the future.

Designate a Workout Space

Even if you only have a small apartment, you can find room for a workout space—all you need is enough floor room to lay a mat down. Dedicating a space for exercising is important because it helps your brain and body know that it’s time to workout.

Find a Program

It’s hard to motivate yourself to work out when you’ve spent your whole day sitting around at home and that’s why you need to find a program you enjoy and stick with it. You won’t have your trainer pushing you every step of the way, but there are tons of online exercise programs like HIIT, dance cardio, ab workouts, bodyweight moves, etc.
