Another great way to get into the habit of walking more if you don’t live in the city is to try to rely on your car less. If you have stores within a mile of your house, walk there instead of driving! The best way to get the hang of it is by parking your car farther from where you need to go to force yourself to get moving more, and the rest will come naturally.
