Chocolate-Hazelnut Sea Salt

If you can’t get enough chocolate, try this super simple two-ingredient substitute for chocolate frosting. Just stir together 3/4 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread and 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar until it’s smooth. Spread onto some cupcakes and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. The sweet and salty combination is delicious!

Mascarpone-Vanilla Bean

Cream cheese frosting works so well on vanilla and red velvet cupcakes. This lighter, creamier alternative uses Italian mascarpone cheese as the base and all you need to do is stir one cup of mascarpone cheese, 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar, and one teaspoon of pure vanilla paste or extract.

Peanut Butter and Jelly

Turn your favorite childhood treat into a dessert by stirring together one cup creamy peanut butter and 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar. Spread on your cupcakes and top it off with one teaspoon of whisked strawberry or grape jelly.
