“Silent walks” have been around since the dawn of time, but how did this term start trending on TikTok? Mady Maio is responsible for starting this craze, after realizing that walking without distractions for 30 minutes a day helped her find the clarity and direction that she was searching for.
“Every time I finish a silent walk I have a new idea for my business, I’ve untangled a weird situation in my head that I’ve been ruminating over and I feel like a lot of my current question marks get answered,” she explained in her viral video.
