]]>We’re so used to using single-use cotton rounds for removing makeup on a daily basis, that we forgot how much waste they actually create. Reusable cotton rounds are not only eco-friendly, but they’re also a cheaper option in the long run.
Think about how often you buy and use disposable sheet masks. Sheet masks have become extremely popular over the last couple of years and most women use them on a weekly basis. However, these masks, along with the plastic wrapping, end up in the trash as soon as we’re done with our 10-minute treatment. DIY face masks are jus as effective and hydrating as sheet masks, plus they’re eco-friendly and natural.
Most shampoos are packed with sulfates and other chemicals that are not good for our hair and scalp. These chemicals are also harmful to the environment, along with tons of plastic bottles that we throw away every year. Shampoo bars or homemade shampoos are just as effective as store-bought shampoos, and they’re much better for our planet.
