]]>A Bathing Ape, commonly known as BAPE, is a Japanese streetwear brand founded by Nigo (Tomoaki Nagao) in 1993 in the Ura-Harajuku district of Tokyo. The brand quickly became a cornerstone of the burgeoning streetwear scene, known for its vibrant designs and cultural significance. BAPE’s name and logo are inspired by the 1968 film “Planet of the Apes” and the Japanese idiom “A bathing ape in lukewarm water,” which satirizes the indulgent lifestyle of Japan’s youth at the time.
The BAPE x Crocs Classic Clog features BAPE’s signature “ABC Camo” in three vibrant colorways: Green, Blue, and Pink. Each pair is adorned with exclusive BAPE-themed Jibbitz charms, including the APE HEAD, BABY MILO, SHARK, TIGER, and the “APE SHALL NEVER KILL APE” slogan. Additional details such as co-branding on the footbed and BAPE’s “R” note on the strap fastener further enhance the collaborative design.
The collaboration is set to roll out in two phases:
Initially, the clogs will be available through BAPE’s official channels, followed by a wider release via Crocs. As of now, retail prices have yet to be announced. For the most current information, it’s advisable to monitor BAPE’s and Crocs’ official websites.
The fusion of BAPE’s streetwear aesthetics with Crocs’ comfort-centric design exemplifies the growing trend of high-fashion brands embracing casual, everyday footwear. This partnership not only broadens the appeal of both brands but also sparks conversations about the evolving definitions of style and comfort in modern fashion.
The BAPE x Crocs Classic Clog is more than just a footwear release; it’s a testament to the dynamic nature of fashion collaborations. As brands continue to experiment with blending distinct styles and functionalities, consumers can look forward to more innovative and unexpected product offerings in the future.

]]>This collaboration will bring a range of bold silhouettes and interesting colors. Beyonce’s style is anything but ordinary, so we wouldn’t expect anything else from the designs. Aside from clothing, Bey also worked on footwear. We can see that she reimagined the popular sneaker style Sambarose and also designed a pair of chic heeled booties. There will be jumpsuits, tracksuits, dresses, leggings and so much more.
Beyonce told ELLE that the collection is “fun and lends itself to creativity, the ultimate power. I focused on designing a unisex collection of footwear and apparel because I saw so many men in IVY PARK. The way they have embraced the brand is an unexpected gift. I appreciate the beauty of gender-neutral clothing and breaking the so-called fashion rules.”
The official release date for the line is 18 January. We all already know the power of Beyonce-approved releases, so if you want something from the collection prepare your credit cards and set your alarms.
