]]> Turmeric is an awesome spice to use in your cooking. There are so many health benefits to using turmeric, such as anti-inflammatory effects, as well as aiding to circulation and more. It also dyes any food you are cooking a beautiful yellow, which is a great way to add more color to your dishes. However, if you get it on your clothes, it will also turn them yellow. If you are a turmeric lover but also are a clumsy person, here are some natural ways to get turmeric out of your clothes.

Lemon Juice

As soon as you see the stain, immediately put some fresh lemon juice on it. Because it is so acidic, it has a bleaching quality that will get out the stain. Either squeeze the lemon right onto the stain or put the whole item in a bowl with lemon juice. Dry it in the sun and wash as regular.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is also a great way to get stains out of clothes, especially turmeric. Start off by rinsing the stain in regular water, followed by a sprinkle of baking soda on the stain. Take a toothbrush and scrub the stain out, and wash as normal.
