]]>But, don’t fear, you can avoid going out and buying yourself an air conditioning unit this year once you learn this simple hack! It might sound crazy, but once you try this, you’ll never go back to sitting in hot rooms again.
For this DIY air conditioner, you will need any type of floor fan, frozen water bottles, and something to secure them to the fan with. You can use a thick piece of string, thin rope, zip ties, or whatever you have on hand. If you can’t find anything, you can always just use a chair and place the water bottles super close to the fan.
All you need to do is take the material you have to secure the bottles and tie them around the necks. Find a good place to tie them to while the fan is off, and then wait a few minutes to make sure it’s secure enough. Plug in your fan and you’re ready to go! The ice from the bottles will make the air colder and you’ll be able to live comfortably ever after.
