]]>Baking soda is one of the best cleaning home remedies you can find. It works wonders on silicone baking mats as well. It’s actually very simple, you only need baking soda and water. Use gloves to mix water and soda and start rubbing it on the mats.
This is another simple trick. Soak the silicone baking mats in hot water and add the juice of a few lemons. Leave it in for about 10 minutes, go over the mat with a sponge, then you can rinse it. You can do the same procedure all over again if the baking mats are not completely clean.
The dishwasher is one of the simplest ways to clean these mats. A lot of people are afraid to wash them in the washer, but it is completely safe. Feel free to wash them twice or more if needed.
Put the baking mat in the oven at 350 F degrees for 10 minutes, then wash it with hot water and soap or baking soda.
