Jamil is already known as someone who likes to do her own makeup and hair for big events, but she also started doing her makeup for The Good Place, once she realized how much time she was spending in the makeup chair.

“I realized we had an hour and 45 minutes in hair and makeup, and I just sort of went to the producers of The Good Place and was like, ‘How ugly do you think I am? There’s no prosthetics on me.’ I need half an hour in hair and makeup? I’ll do my own makeup,” Jamil told to an E! News reporter.

The actress claims she never had a stylist and she’s capable of doing her makeup in only five minutes. Judging by her stunning look for the 2019 Emmys, we totally believe her!
