Also, if you have a big meal, it’s also a good idea to have some warm water after that as well to help your food digest better.
A lot of times if you have a diet that contains a lot of acidic food such as citrus, many different kinds of fruits, coffee, and more, that could be severely affecting your digestion as well. Try to cut out some of the more acidic foods in your life and switch to foods that are more neutral or alkaline to balance out the acidity.
A lot of people don’t think about the temperature of food, but it can also really affect your digestion! If you’re someone who eats a lot of raw foods like salad, you might want to consider switching to hot, cooked foods. And if you only eat hot, cooked foods, add some cool, cold dishes into your diet and see if that changes anything.
