Eyebrows are the frame of the face. They are an essential part of a makeup routine and it’s important that you do them right. If you’re struggling with getting your brows done, here are some basic steps that you can follow or adjust to your own needs. Feel free to skip a step or add another one if you know what does the job for you.
Step 1: Brushing
To brush you eyebrows use a special kind of brush or simply clean an old mascara wand. It will take seconds and ensure your makeup goes on neatly.
Step 2: Bottom Line
Start by lining the bottom of your eyebrow. Follow your natural brow line and don’t try to make them look thicker with a pencil (make sure the color matches your brows).
Step 3: Upper Line
Continue by following your brow’s natural upper line. Carefully line the whole eyebrow with a pencil.
Step 4: Filling In
Finish by filling in the brow. Use short strokes and try to follow the direction of hair growth – you want to make it look as natural as possible.
Step 5: Bright Shadow
Make the line sharp by applying an eye shadow in a bright color, such as champagne, right below the brow. This will create the contrast and highlight your lid.
Step 6: Brush Again
Finish up by brushing your brow again, making sure it is neat and blending the pencil for the most natural result. Repeat all steps on the other brow.
