If you’re anything like us and the rest of the TikTok world, you probably can’t get enough of Lizzie McAlpine’s hit song “ceilings.” Lucky for you, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve compiled a list of similar songs that will strike a chord with you and give you all the feels.

Sara Kays – “Remember That Night”?

Sarah Kays’ ballad, like “ceilings,” will make you reminisce about lost love, midnight drives, and kissing in the rain. Make sure you’re ready for an emotional ride.

“Till Forever Falls Apart”- Ashe, FINNEAS

This romantic duet by Ashe and Billie Eilish’s brother, FINNEAS, is both dreamy and whimsical, a celebration about falling in love, even if it’s just “till forever falls apart.” This song is less of a breakup song than “ceilings”, and is similar to McAlpine’s sultry sound.

“WYD Now?” – Sadie Jean

Sadie Jean’s heartfelt lyrics about missing a previous lover and the hope of reconnecting with them will leave you gasping for air and reaching for the tissues, just like “ceilings.”

“Your Bones”- Chelsea Cutler

Cutler’s new hit single, “Your Bones,” is on track for fans of “ceilings,” as it captures the feeling of young love and vulnerability. The upbeat chorus describes loving someone “down to their bones” and an all-consuming- love.

The supergroup formed by Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Lucy Dacus is dropping a new EP featuring four songs this fall, and we’re ready to welcome them with open arms.

Troye Sivan – Something to Give Each Other (October 13)

Troye Sivan never struggled to get our attention, and he did a great job setting the stage for his third studio album with the lead single “Rush” and its follow-up “Got Me Started”.

The Rolling Stones – Hackney Diamonds (October 20)

The Rolling Stones are dropping their first album of new material in almost two decades this October. They’ve built a lot of hype for this record with the lead single “Angry” and the Lady Gaga collaboration “Sweet Sounds of Heaven”.

Taylor Swift – 1989 (Taylor’s Version) (October 27)

The re-recordings of Taylor Swift’s old albums are a gift that keeps on giving, and she’ll drop another one this month. 1989 (Taylor’s Version) will feature some of her biggest hits, in addition to five “from the vault” tracks.

Murder mysteries are not a novelty in Hollywood, but many of the recent shows that fall under this category explore it with a fresh point of view. Murder mysteries with a touch of humor are all the rage these days, and we’re bringing you three shows that put this genre on the map.

Only Murders in the Building

One of the shows responsible for popularizing this genre, Only Murders in the Building sees Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez play a trio of true crime fans starting their own podcast while trying to solve a murder in their apartment building.

The Afterparty

Over the course of its two seasons, The Afterparty saw the quirky Detective Danner trying to solve a series of murders by interrogating all the usual suspects. Each episode features an interview with a new witness and explores different movie genres, suitable to the characters’ personalities.

Poker Face

After giving us the acclaimed murder mystery franchise Knives Out, Rian Johnson decided to tackle the same genre with this TV series. Poker Face stars Natasha Lyon as a woman using her special talent to tell when someone is lying to solve crimes while on the run from a sinister casino owner.

Drive-in theatres are a nostalgic summer pastime and if you still haven’t gone to one this season—it’s still not too late. They come with a long list of fantastic perks, and here are five reasons why you should consider embracing their unique charm before summer is over.

Great Selection

If you’re not in the mood to watch one of the latest releases, drive-in theatres are just the thing you need. They offer a diverse selection of new and old movies, allowing you to rekindle your love for iconic classics.

Nostalgic Vibe

One of the best things about drive-in theatres is their nostalgic vibe. They used to be all the rage decades ago, and you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back to those years during each visit.

Cozy Feel

Drive-in theatres offer comfort that you won’t get at regular theatres because you can bring your own snacks and blanket and create a cozy atmosphere under the night sky.

Outdoor Fun

The allure of the outdoors is impossible to resist once summer arrives. Moviegoing is traditionally considered an indoor pastime, but drive-in theatres offer an opportunity to enjoy it in a more natural environment.

Cherished Memories

Whether you’re going to a drive-in with your friends, family, or a special someone, you’ll end up creating special memories that you can fondly look back on in the future.
